I had what seems to be a folliculitis 6 days ago in one single spot in the tranplanted area ; got prescribed augmentin and fucidin, it got subsided and became less red and smaller in size; but it is still there. I am happy with the amount of early growth in around 11 weeks, but how would it vanish, as I am concerned it would affect hair growth?

Only time will tell.  It is relatively normal to have a few "bumps" or folliculitis.  The important thing is you had it treated.

Folliculitis in the grafted area is often mis-understood.  Actual infections in hair transplant surgery is very uncommon because of high scalp vascularity.  Prolonged redness (and itching) of the recipient area is common, because of the inflammatory process present (and needed) for graft survival.  Most of the time this redness will subside over the course of the first or second post-op month.  However, if the are begins producing discharge, feels warm to the touch, or if there are any systemic signs of infection such as fever and chills, prompt treatment is usually needed.

I think you just need to wait longer, and the skin should return to its normal state. It almost definitely will not impact your final results. You are still fairly early in the whole process, there's a lot of time for everything to continue on as normal. Despite this 'bump' in the road.

Folliculitis can sometimes occur in the recipient area which can be easily treated with the medicines which have been prescribed to you. If it persists sometimes, then you may need to get that examined by the physician who operated upon you. Regarding the results, such a localised infection usually does not hamper the results.

It sounds like you were adequately treated. Don't worry about the bump, it will probably go away and should not have impacted the growth in the surrounding area.
