What is the best possible treatment for my injury? Since i lost the upper part of my eyebrow skin i am worried if hair transplant would yield best results.

Answer: Brow surgery It is possible to implant hair into the scar, but you might want to revise the scar first since an indentation covered by hair will still look a little like an indentation. Also, keep in mind that brow hair grows in scar but the growth can initially be slow and may be "directionally challenged." It may take a touch-up surgery and it may take you training the hair to get the results just right. Finally, choose a surgeon who has done a LOT of brows since the angles and directions of the hairs in this area are unlike any other hair on the body. Good luck!

Answer: Eyebrow Transplant is a good option, however proceed with caution I see one photograph image view of the scar through your eyebrow. A second view would be helpful in assessing your situation. The indentation of the scar may necessitate 2 procedures. My approach may include a scar revision to improve indentation if cosmetically necessary, followed by transplantation into the brow to replace the missing eyebrow hairs. Eyebrow transplantation is a very precise procedure and should not be entered into lightly. It is an important part of your facial features. The best way to insure great results is to do your homework, carefully review the eyebrow restoration results of a number of surgeons, first online then in person. By looking at a hair transplant surgeons results try to determine: 1. How natural do they appear? 2. Do the hair angles appear normal? 3. Is there apparent scarring at the recipient sites? 4. What is the appearance of density of the grafted area? And lastly, make sure you meet with the surgeon who is performing the procedure and not a sales consultant.
