Do I need to do a breast lift? And if I do, what height should I put on the nipples? Today it measures 21 cm from the the throat to nipples. I have implants now (400 cc) but I will operate them out (en bloc / explant. Misplaces BII) I had an A / B cup before surgery and did it when I was 22 years old. Today I am 38 years old and have given birth to a child 13 years ago. I experience that I have quite a bit of breast tissue, the skin is thin and has stretch marks.
Answer: Breast Lift After Implant Removal Determining the need for a breast lift following implant removal depends on numerous factors including your age, years of having implants, bra size, weight and size/type of implants. Based upon the photo and the number you provided, your nipples are in a good position and raising them may not be the appropriate option. With implant removal, there are different types of breast lifts that can be performed. Lastly, know that a breast lift can always be performed at a different procedure following the implant removal if you are unhappy with the results. Discuss your reasons for implant removal as well as the need for a breast lift with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast surgery. They will help with the decision process. Answer: Breasts First, en bloc surgery is for cancer surgery only and not for removing the capsules around implants. Second, the nipple should be placed midway between the top of the breast and the bottom. In your first photos, your large implants are sagging and pulling your lower breast pole downward, which is not your true base bottom. Your surgeon will examine and measure you to see where the nipples should be placed. You just might need your lower pockets lifted and tightened, and your nipples may be in a good position.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift From your photos it appears a breast lift would be recommended for you when the implants are removed. This will take up the excess distance from the bottom of the areola to the fold of the breast. Begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to learn more.

Answer: Do I need to do a breast lift & if so, what height should I put the nipples? Hello @emmie.lee thank you for your question and showing your picture. Every specialist has different and follow diverse protocols. For me explant or remove breast implants definitely involves a reconstruction of the mammary tissue, in order to achieve the best aesthetic result. Due to the experience of so many explantation surgeries practiced in these 21 years I consider that the L-shaped incision is the minimum and smallest scar possible in this surgery. For more information and recommendations, it is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
