Hardening after explant and en bloc - what does it mean?

Final wound healing can take up to 1 year to be completed, so you may be feeling the scar tissue and swelling after the surgery. I would recommend to continue with conservative treatment and massaging the area for now.
I would definitely discuss your questions and concerns with your Plastic Surgeon.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

It's difficult to determine what may be causing your discomfort without an exam. I encourage you to return to your surgeon for an evaluation. Further testing such as an ultrasound may be needed for diagnosis.

"Enbloc" surgery is for cancer treatment only and not removal of implants. You may have some scar tissue in the area, or even retained fluid. An ultrasound exam might be helpful. I would suggest meeting with your plastic surgeon and discussing your concerns.
