Why loose rather than tight? Have had two facelifts in my life. The first was exactly as I had been told to expect, taut and no extra skin, but the second had so much loose skin that the compression bandage dug into it and left creases on my face. Both surgeons were experienced and reputable; cannot figure out why it was considered acceptable that, after a lift, you could still pull up all this loose skin with your fingers, in order for it to be taut. Is every lift so different or was the 2nd one not done correctly?

Fillers in the depressed area on cheek is the best way to handle it. If they were really bad then you can just excise them and the incisions heal pretty well.
