8 months post rhytidectomy. I would like suggestions as to improvements that could be obtained with revision surgery.

I have noticed my cheeks have dropped low and heavy in the nine months to increase jowls and under my jaw is swollen and jawline not well defined. including a before (first) photo and a few photos now at 9 months after surgery.

I would recommend a facelift and necklift. The problem with the Ellevate is that it does not work and certainly does not last. It is a minimally invasive procedure recommended by individuals who do not want to operate anymore or simply do not know how to do a proper face/necklift.

It is uncommon to have a facelift revision.  However minor changes such as a fold of skin or raised area can be addressed and up to 5% of the cases.The the minor procedures which can be easily done under local anesthesia only without any significant down time.Regards Dr. J
