Incision area getting darker: The first picture is 3 days post op. Is it a rupture? Or just bruising? (Photos)

The second picture is 7days post op. I’m not sure what is the dark spot close to the incision. It doesn’t hurt or anything. (Don’t pay attention to the red area, my skin reacted to the surgical tape)

At one week post op this is normal bruising after surgery, for a detailed exam and evaluation I recommend you visit your PS.

If you have a postoperative concern, you should bring the issue up to your surgeon.  They have a better ability to evaluate your issues and make sure there are no acute problems than asking online sites like this one.

This appears to be normal bruising and swelling at 3 days post op.  However, nothing substitutes for a good physical exam.  I would contact your surgeon if you are concerned.

The dark area on your incision appears to be bruising.  Follow up with your surgeon as I'm sure that he/she can give you some reassurance.   I suspect that the incision will go on to heal just fine!
