Do my breasts sit too low on my chest? Or are my nipples too high? Or both? I am 2 months away from a BA but am a little worried that I might look saggy because of where the implants will sit. Will high profile implants help with this? Will I likely have no cleavage due to them being so low? Thanks!
Answer: Do My Breasts Sit Too Low On My Chest Thanks for your question! I do agree that your breasts sit a little low on your chest, but breast augmentation should correct this very nicely. I would encourage you to talk to your plastic about the (relatively) new SSF Inspira Soft Touch cohesive gel Full (high) profile implants; I’ve been very happy with them! Best of luck to you!

Answer: Breast augmentation Hello and thank you for your question. You do have low set inframammary folds but you do not need a breast lift. You are a great candidate for a breast augmentation. The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. This entire surgery can be performed with a small incision technique. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Do my breasts sit too low on my chest? Without an in-person consultation, it’s impossible to determine if you will need more than an augmentation to achieve your post-surgery goals. We recommend scheduling an appointment with your plastic surgeon to further discuss your concerns.

Answer: Breast anatomy Your breasts do sit lower on your chest, but this is your anatomy and it is also within the realm of what is normal. It will be more difficult for your to gain upper pole fullness as both your breasts and implants will sit naturally lower. High profile implants will not help, wider diameter implants can but only to a certain extent as the implants shouldn't be wider than your natural breast tissues. Hope this helps!
