Are my implants too wide for my body? (Photo)

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Without any more information about the implant that was placed nor a before picture....it is difficult to tell if you received an implant that was too wide for your native breast base width. I would recommend seeing a board-certified (American Board of Plastic Surgery); ideally, a surgeon with also a history of proper aesthetic breast surgery training.

Your implants extend beyond the width of the chest wall so they are too wide for your body. You would benefit from a circumareola lift to exchange the implants for smaller ones and reposition the nipple-areola complex higher and more medially.

Thank you for your question. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast surgery and revision breast surgery. I have been in practice for over 28 years. In your case, you would benefit from an internal bra procedure - capsulorrhaphy. I wrote the very first paper on capsulorrhaphy over 20 years ago. I find that many surgeons are not skilled at these procedures and have high rate of recurrence. You should be able to have an excellent result. Best wishes to you

Your breast augmentation results would certainly qualify as close to excellent, at least from the photos supplied. Your implants appear to be centered nicely under your nipples. If they were moved in, or you go with a narrower breast implant your nipples would be too far lateralized. We also don't know how long ago your surgery was, what profile of implant you have, and what happens with implants when you lie recumbent. Perhaps you just have to get used to them? Good luck!

Based on your posted, two photos, very hard to see I recommend revision to high profile implants with lateral capsule closure. Fee $10,000. Best of virtual concert with so your problems could really be seen better since your photos were poorly done
