Question

I had breast asymmetry so I had a unilateral reduction. The breast that was reduced and lifted ended up being higher than the other. I wanted the other breast to be lifted by the areola and I wanted the areola to be made smaller but the surgeon refused because he said he didn't want to put a scar around the areola. The first time he tried to do a lift without lifting the areola it dropped and this is his second attempt to lift the breast without lifting the areola.

breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.

The breast that is sagging can be adjusted to remove the excess skin with an inferior position. In doing so, the areolae should match. Please discuss this with your surgeon. Do remember that your breasts are not identical twins, but sisters, and may never look exactly alike. For example, your higher breast has a wider base and the bases cannot be changed.  They still look good, and you might enjoy what you have.

You can always have revisions. That does not mean you should.
I suggest you discuss with your provider.
If you want second opinion consultations, let’s schedule those as in person consultations with other plastic surgeons in your community.
To make an assessment, I suggest always including a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
The left breast since higher on the chest wall on the great majority of the people Pendas on you as well.
For most people the left breast should sit about half an inch higher than the right side. That is normal.
