Ideal implants and gapping, is my goal picture possible? (photos)

Thank you for your pictures and questions. You have a wide sternal spacing and laterally displaced nipples, so the result you are going to have is dependent on this anatomy. The only way to get more medial pole fullness is to choose a wider implant, but for every inch you get more medial pole fullness, you will also have to add an inch laterally, making the implant stick out on the sides, because you should keep the implant centered underneath the nipple. The wrong way to try to correct this (and I have seen this far too often), is to medially displace an implant and then it ends up not being centered underneath the nipple and patients like you end up with nipples pointing towards the outside. Make sure you are not trying to reach a goal that is unrealistic and end up doing something you cannot fix in the process. With the Ideal implant, there is only one profile so you will pick the implant based on the size and the width will be determined based on that. Thank you for the question and pictures. I certainly think the Ideal Implant will give you the result you are looking for. The size needed to achieve your "wish boobs" would be larger than 350 cc based on the pictures. We usually do computer imaging and sizing in our office before surgery to get a better idea of what patients are comfortable with. The cleavage in the "wish" pic, may be a bit more than what you might expect due to your wide sternum. Be sure to discuss this with your surgeon. Good luck to you.

I have been using the Ideal Implants since they first became available i think you have reasonable goals and he ideal Implants should be able to deliver. I think you might need to be towards the upper end of your size prediction. Good luck.

It appears as though you can get very close to your wish pick.  However, it's important to have realistic expectations that you might not be exactly like the woman in the photo since every body and breast shape is different.  Ideal implants are a great way to increase the volume and cleavage of the breast while still giving a natural look and it looks like you can get amazing results!

Te best implant to avoid a large space between your breasts is one with the proper base diameter (width),  and a volume that matches your size wishes as cklosely as possible.  Whether this is an Ideal Implant or not is less important than the measurements of your tissue and a detailed and careful choice of whatever implant fits your tissues and achieves your goal.

The space between your breasts is determined by your existing anatomy, so it should essentially be the same. The look you show is certainly achievable with IDEAL implants. They only come in high profile at the moment so its really just a question of choosing size. Your surgeon should help explain all of this at your consultation. Best of luck!,

Thanks for your question. Realistically, I do not think your "wish" picture results are going to be completely achievable in looking at your pre-op photos. It sounds like you have done your research and understand the benefits of under the muscle or biplanar positioning of the implants. There is only so close the implants can be placed towards the midline of your chest with the anatomy you are showing in the picture. Well placed implants will still look natural, though not like your "wish" picture. Good luck. 

Thank you for your question. It appears from your photos that your anatomy is such that achieving that "wish" look is not going to be perfect. Using an implant with a wider base (IDEAL Implant with a larger volume and filled to the minimum level as opposed to a smaller implant filled to the maximum) will be more likely to give you fullness medially (toward the middle). You will likely need to choose bras that help support the breasts to give you that look as well. It best to have realistic expectations going in. Good luck!

The wish picture that you chose demonstrates pretty large breast that appear soft and move together with a lot of cleavage. I am not sure that your breasts can accomplish that. The only way to know for sure is to have a physical examination with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can feel your tissue and give you a better idea as to how much you will move and come together. From your photograph your breasts do appear to be a little far apart, and this will definitely affect the final appearance and you may have a little more gap than you desire, especially with sub muscular augmentation which does tend to push the implants a little more to the side. I would strongly recommend a consultation with 3-D imaging to help you visualize your result. An additional option to consider is the concept of composite breast augmentation where fat grafting is performed over the implants towards the middle and upper parts of the implants to improve the appearance in this area and decrease the gap and separation between the breasts.
