Hi, and thanks for your good question. PCOS is a hormonal disease, peripheral insulin resistance is a part of this disease. For BBL , surgeon have to take fat from your body, this cause decreasing of your fat amount in your body so ıt decreases your peripheral insulin resistance. This changing helps the healing of the PCOS. You are not only good candidate for liposuction and BBL, also this opeartion helps healing processs of PCOS.
Having PCOS does not prevent you from having any kind of cosmetic procedure. Your plastic surgeon may want medical clearance to ensure you are totally healthy and able to undergo general anesthesia for your procedure.
Hello, You could certainly be considered as a candidate for a BBL surgery. Your polycystic ovary syndrome does not disqualify you. Your eligibility to be considered a candidate for BBL surgery will depend upon a physical examination, lab work and your fat deposition. I recommend seeking an In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to go over what would be right for you. Hope this helps. Best Wishes, Dr. Lane Smith Las Vegas, Nevada
Hello Bonitasoul! To answer your question, yes you do still qualify for a BBL. I suggest checking with your endocrinologist first to see if hormones are imbalanced perioperatively. As long as you have clearance, you should have no problems moving forward with surgery. Good luck!
Thank you for your question, PCOS shouldn't prevent you from having surgery. I do recommend getting clearance from your Doctor and talking to your Anesthesiologist and Surgeon about your condition before surgery.
Thanks so much for reaching out. It should not prevent you from getting a BBL. You need to get clearance from your medical doctor and perioperative recommendations from them as well. You should see a board-certified plastic surgeon anybody specialist is the best plan of treatment.I hope this helps :-)
Thank you for your question. You can certainly have a BBL procedure done. You should, however, have a consultation with your Endocrinologist to make sure that you are in, otherwise good health. All The Best !
You would most definitely qualify for buttock augmentation with PCOS. Medical clearance would be needed prior to surgery, otherwise there is no contraindication for BBL with PCOS.
PCOS can be managed. If you are otherwise healthy, BBL can be considered.Kenneth Hughes, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for the question. It is difficult to answer your question without examining you or seeing your photos. In general you can undergo a BBL procedure as long as you obtain a clearance from your endocrinologist or primary care physician and have adequate fat for the transfer. It is best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
As long as you are otherwise healthy then having PCOS alone wouldn't disqualify you for a BBL. The only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to review your full medical history and see what your options are. Best of luck!
It's too early to tell at this point, I would recommend you stay in close follow up with your surgeon.Best Regards,Dr. Michael Gartner

After a BBL as you heal the butt will not get bigger - you will not get more projection that you have immediately post op, BUT the shape will change. It tends to drop and round out over time. It goes from rock hard to soft and the areas of liposuction shrink giving you a more dramatic change in ...
