From what I understand, one of the issues with a successful hair transplant is connected with blood circulation to the area, particularly the crown. With this in mind, I am curious why my doctor told me to avoid exercise for the first two weeks after the procedure? Wouldn't that increase blood flow and wouldn't that be good?

We do not recommend young patient before the age of 25 to perform a hair transplantation as the hair loss will go on and this means that you will need more surgeries in the upcoming years. Therefore you should start to use minoxidil and finasterid to prevent hair loss and maybe 2-3 years later ...
We recommend our patients to start 20 days after the surgery with Rogaine 5% (Minoxidil) foam spray twice a day but this can change due to your own surgeons recommendation. Please consult with your surgeon about his/her after care recommendations.
