Answer: Post-op breast augmentation looks so small; why? I'm sorry to hear about the concerns you are experiencing after breast surgery. You are early out of breast augmentation surgery; you should be aware that a significant percentage of patients at the early stages of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. In other words, it may be too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed; your breasts will undoubtedly change over the course of the next several weeks/months. For example, many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting. Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. Although online consultants cannot predict whether or not you will be pleased with the long-term outlook, of the procedure performed, it is safe to predict that the breasts will change. If, in the long term, you remain displeased with the breast size, it is very likely that your plastic surgeon will be able to increase breast size further. Much of course will depend on your physical examination (and goals) at that point…Best wishes.

Answer: Size following surgery I agree with all the answers below. Most of all give it time to allow the implants to drop and fill in. This can take up to 6 months. At that time I would revisit the issue with your surgeon and at that time make a plan if it's still necessary. Good luck in your journey

Answer: BREASTS LOOK SMALL AFTER AUGMENTATION It appears you have a lot of implant that is not showing due to the pressure of your pectoralis muscles. It may take a month or more for you to see the full result. All of my sub muscular patients get muscle relaxants after the surgery which helps the muscle stretch to accept the implant. This allows them to see a remarkable change in just 3-4 days. Regardless, give them some time to stretch out and settle in. You many be quite amazed at how full they get.

Answer: Too small immediately after BA Thank you for your question. you are in early phase of healing and it is too early to comment. Please let the swelling come down and reassess in 3 months. I also recommend to express your concerns to your PS
