Recently I got my breast done and I am nervous I will not have my goal of a full C cup Height: 5"6 Weight: 140 I was an A cup before I got silicon 400cc
Answer: Can 400cc give me a full C cup? Hard to answer this since cc's do not translate into a cup size. At this point, best to allow your breasts to fully heal and then evaluate your final size/shape in 6 months. If you aren't happy with your size at that point, have a discussion with your operating surgeon about possibly going larger. Good luck!

Answer: Breast Implants/ Breast Augmentation/ Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/ Silicone Implants/ Breast Implant Revision Surgery I appreciate your question. It depends on your chest wall measurements and existing breast tissue as implant size does not accurately correlate to a bra size. It also depends on the brand and style of bra you wear as size varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Can 400cc give me a full C cup with breast augmentation? Thank you for the question. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. In my opinions, I do not think that the generalizations of "150 cc or 200 cc equates to 1 cup" hold any validity or is helpful in any specific way. There are simply too many variables such as a specific patient's dimensions and the variability in bra manufacturer's cup sizes… Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, in bra sizers, and computer imaging) as well as careful measurements (dimensional planning) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural look” or "full C cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Breast size There is no way to predict with percision what cup size you will be. Generally 150 -200cc will increase one cup size. By that your 400cc should increase you about 2-21/2 cups. When you try on bras the cup size will vary from style to style and within each bra manufacturer. However, what difference does it make. When 400cc gets added to an a cup there is usually a huge improvement and the patient looks great no matter the cup size. I hope you fall in that group. Good luck.

Answer: Correlation between cup size and Implant size Try not to worry it will take up to 6 months for the final appearance of your breasts as your skin and muscle tissue if the implants were placed under the pectoralis muscle to relax revealing the final shape of your breasts. I recommended patients focus on the specific look they want for their breasts after surgery. I really like using the Mentor sizing system as this gives the best approximation that I have seen of what patients will look like after surgery. I spend a great deal of time with patients discussing size and desired outcome while they try on different size implants. Bra cup sizes vary from store to store in the same labeled cup size, I would guess based on your height and weight that you will be close to a full C cup in most bra brands once your breasts take on their final shape. Best of luck. Raymond Jean MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Bryn Mawr, Philadelphia PA
