Injector broke needle while in my face during filler injection. After a month, bruise won’t go away. How can I treat the spot?

I'm sorry this happened to you. Certainly, this is not a common event. I suggest you have an examination by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and perhaps consider an x-ray to be sure no part of the needle remains. They can then address your bruising with a laser. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO 

I recommend returning to your injector for an evaluation.  Imaging studies can be done to rule out that any part of the needle remains.  The bruising can be treated with lasers if it is persistent.

It is difficult to give you advice without a photograph being submitted. Have an x-ray performed to make sure that the needle is not left in your face is number one priority, number 2 you should apply warm compresses even though it may be a little late at this point in time as they will help resolve the bruise. Hard to give accurate advice without pictures nor the complete events. I do agree if any suspicion that part of the needle still remains, imaging should be done. Once this is excluded, simple vascular lasers can help. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
