Question

I am not happy with my face after having juvaderm ultra and voluma in my nasolabial folds. I feel I look different, less attractive, and just not like myself. The dr. Used 2-3 syringes, which I felt was a lot. But he said he needed to use that much to do what he wanted to do. So I allowed it. I want to dissolve it. I am very depressed about it. I also had 1 syringe of volbella in my lips.

Typically I ask my patients to wait approximately 10 days. If after the swelling is gone they still do not like the results, they can choose to have the filler dissolved. Results may vary, and it is possible that you will require a second correction with filler after that.

okay first of all,,, Im not sure if you needed that much filler. for someone your age I wouldn't do more than 2 syringes for all your areas of concern. having said that, if the doctor felt the need to inject more then thats their call. just call them and have it dissolved. shouldn't take more than 1 min. no need to be depressed

Hyaluronic acid fillers are a great option for improving facial volume and reducing folds because they can be reversed if necessary.  It's hard to tell, but from the picture and the continued presence of a bruise, it appears this was done in the last few days.  If so, give the areas time to go down as swelling could be causing the distortion that you see.  If it has been 10-14 days, the fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase without any negative impact.   Best of luck.

Yes, if you are unhappy with the results you have with Voluma, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. I recommend following up with your injector. I hope this helps.

Hello,Thank you for your question and sharing your photos.I understand the concern you must be experiencing at this time but I would highly recommend waiting 2 weeks after the initial treatment to allow for swelling to resolve and the product to settle. What you see in the mirror today is not going to be the final result as you clearly are still swollen and bruised. If you are still dissatisfied, the product can be easily dissolved with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps!

There are options to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm.  Since you still have some bruising I would recommend waiting, using gentle massage, and also applying some Arnica Montana cream to help with the bruising.Certainly it would be helpful for you to return to your injector to review your results and options!

Juvederm can be dissolved, but may need a few injections.  You still look swollen and bruised as well.  Wait a few weeks to see where your tissue lands.  Juvederm is very osmotic and sucks in alot of fluid.  In addition, lips stay swollen for longer than other facial tissue.  You can use some antiinflammtory meds and ice if you are still in the acute phase.  Most importantly, keep touch with your doctor.

It looks like your injections are still pretty recent...and sometimes swelling can be significant.  Best to wait until that settles down over a few weeks before making your decision.  However, all the fillers that you listed can be dissolved with the hyaluronidase enzyme.

Yes you can have the filler dissolved.  You are still bruised, so may want to wait a little longer to let all the swelling settle down and make sure you want it out.  The Juvederm family of fillers often need more than one injection of the enzyme to full dissolve.

Yes, this can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. It may take a series of treatments. Keep in mind, a combination approach is needed to get improvement to nasolabial folds. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support.
