Why are fillers done more on the left than right? I had Voluma in my cheeks and she injected more on my left than right.

This may be due to asymmetries to the face. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. Keep in mind, results will take 1-2 weeks. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Differing amounts of dermal fillers are often used to help improve upon any natural volume asymmetries in a patient's face.  If your left cheek was smaller, had greater sagging, or the NLF was deeper it would be expected to take more filler than your right.  Hope this helps.

Everyone's face has some degree of asymmetry. It's what makes us human. But symmetry is also a "marker" of youth and beauty so when we use filler, we also try to restore a more balanced look to the face.
