Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately without a full series of photographs it is difficult to offer definite advice as the severity of volume loss and degree of tissue sagging needs to first be determined. One can always start with a single syringe in each cheek and adding additional volume incrementally until the goal result is obtained. Hope this helps.
Hi cmoles! I always recommend starting with 1 syringe in each cheek. Keep in mind, 1 syringe is equivalent to a blueberry. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hi and thank you for your question! Needless to say, you must see an experienced cosmetic physician for an accurate assessment to determine the number of syringes needed as there is truly no one size fit all when it comes to cosmetic medical treatments. This being said, Voluma generally works very nicely in the cheeks area and it's among my top choice for this area. It generates a very nice lift that can smooth out as far as nasolabial folds and even the jowl area. For best results, work with an experienced physician who can do a whole-face analysis for you and give you recommendations on various aspects of your face for a more balanced look. I hope it helps and good luck!
It's hard to tell how much Voluma would be necessary without photos or your age. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for more information and an estimate.
This is difficult to answer without pictures. Keep in mind, a combination approach is needed to improve nasolabial folds. This often means fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. This is difficult to determine without a photo, however, Voluma is an excellent dermal filler to help enhance the facial features of the midface. In our office, we typically start with 1 syringe in each cheek, with the understanding that for optimal correction more may be needed. We will continue to look in the mirror with the patient to watch correction. Rarely a half syringe in each cheek is enough, but it is all dependent on the initial exam and desired correction. I hope this is helpful.
Without photos, I cannot say how much filler you will need. Always seek treatment from a qualified physician.
Without more specifics, hard to say but 1 syringe a side is generally a conservative place to start.
The first step to determine your injectable treatment plan is to schedule a consultation with your surgeon or nurse injector. The amount of syringes needed for full correction is dependent upon the anatomy of the patient and the amount of correction and volume the patient is hoping to accomplish. Treatments to add volume to the cheek area typically require 2-4 syringes.
Thank you for yourquestion. Volumamight be a good option for you as it generally used for areas such asnasolabial folds. Voluma is derived fromhyaluronic acid which is a moisturizer found naturally in your body. It isdifficult to tell how many syringes you need without any photos. For moreinformation, please get a in person evaluation from a board-certifieddermatologist.
The swelling is due to the sinus infection, not the Voluma. If you haven't already, see an ENT to get to the bottom of what is causing the recurring infection in your sinuses.
The intermittent numbness that you are experiencing sounds as if it is being caused by pressure on a nerve. Probably due to the swelling. It should improve over the next couple of weeks as the swelling diminishes. If not, see your surgeon. Best of luck.
Hi @Monika84123. I recommend waiting a full two weeks to see how the product settles in. If one cheek is still higher after two weeks, you can add additional filler to even them out. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
