Filler for labia majora?

I was wondering if there were any doctors in the Houston area that could do this and how much would it be with sculptra. I don't really wanna use fat because it is more costly and I'm a student right not but my labia is really bothering me and making me self conscious.

Thank you for your question.  Filler can be safely injected into the labia majora and minora, although this use is considered “off label”.  There are several other alternatives including radiofrequency treatments (Exilis Ultra 360, ThermiVa) depending on your end goal.   I would not suggest Sculptra in this area due to higher risk of nodules. Best of Luck,Suneel Chilukuri, M.D.Houston, Texas

I think this is a good option for adding volume to almost anywhere on the body. If the Sculptra is placed deeply with cannulas, I do believe the risks of nodules are minimal. It should take 1-2 vials per treatment, about 2-3 treatments. Results should be about 5-7 years. Fat grafting won't be much different in cost I think.

While I am every experienced with use of Sculptra to volumize the face, and with increasing frequency, I am using it on the body, I have not used it in the labia.  I suspect that if it were done thoughtfully, and appropriate post operative care was afforded to minimize nodules, that it may be very effective.  I would, however, question your assertion that fat grafting may be more costly.  It likely would take a few vials of sculptra at the initial treatment and then a few more may be recommended 6-8 weeks later.  That result may last a couple of years before the result faded and more sculptra was required.  Fat grafting could produce a far more permanent result, and I have performed the procedure in the office setting with oral sedation and local (tumescent) anesthesia.  While the initial investment may be a bit more, it may be easily justified by the duration of the result.  Best of luck finding a provider in the Houston area facile with both techniques for a formal consultation.
