Your Sculptra liquid facelift should continue to make you look volumized and lifted for about two years. However, because you are a lean runner and all of us lose an additional teaspoon of fat per year, I usually recommend a maintenance treatment once per year. You wouldn’t need 9 vials at this point, usually just one or two. Receiving yearly maintenance treatment, essentially “topping off the gas tank”, will keep you full and youthful for years. If you’d like to bolster collagen production, you could begin to get regular light chemical peels or non-invasive laser treatment to treat sun damage and keep the surface looking smoother. Also be sure you are on a medical-grade skin-care regimen, and always wear sun protection and a hat when outdoors — including when you’re on your training runs. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to work with you so that your skin will continue to be healthy and strong over the years.
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and congratulations on your impressive rejuvenation with Sculptra. Maintenance is patient specific with most patients getting an additional 1-2 vials of Sculptra every 1-2 years. Timing will depend on your level of correction, metabolism and product response. Hope this helps.
Hello,Thank you for your question and pictures. Based on what can be seen here it appears that you were treated to optimal correction. You will need to maintain every 12 to 18 months. Sculptra can last up to two years but you don't want to go back to zero, you want to maintain it. This will minimize the amount of money and time you spend on each fill. Ask you doctor to outline a game plan for you. This will allow you to have an idea of what to expect and when. Good luck!
Hi DC. It looks like you have some excellent results. Sculptra maintenance treatments are usually performed yearly in our practice. While the product may last up to two years, most patients will visit the office yearly for 2 vials of Sculptra. Good luck and to see photos of Sculptra results, click on the link below.
Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Results after a series of Sculptra treatments can last as long as 2-4 years. Some patients may wait this period, but others prefer to get a booster treatment before this time to maintain the results. In some cases, patients may wait a year or so and then come in for this booster treatment. Results can vary by patient, so it is difficult to give an exact time period.
Typically, getting 1-2 vials every 12-18 months is what I do after full correction is achieved. This will account for gradual volume loss which occurs with aging. It is well documented that runners and ultra athletes burn through the Sculptra faster than most people so you might need more than that.
Based on the photos, it looks as though you have complete correction of volume loss after Sculptra treatment. Typically, I recommend my patients followup with me once a year for Sculptra treatment to maintain their results. In your case, that would probably mean that you followup with your injector once a year to have 2-3 vials of Sculptra injected into your face.
It appears that you had full correction of Sculptra and good results. Sculptra should last about two years but I would not wait two years for a "touch - up". You should probably have a touch up in a year to maintain the results. If You like a full look then six months may be best. Please consult an expert in Sculptra for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
It looks like you have a nice result. There is not much you can do to maintain it. Consider repaeting it every 2 years or as needed, or switch to Bellafill which lasts longer.
Sculptra is mostly done as a serious of up to three treatments and and since it is a collagen simulator it has take up to 2 months to see some of the results .
Sculptra works by stimulating your own fibroblasts to produce collagen in the treated areas. The result of treatment is a subtle correction of volume loss that is your own tissue. Results will dissipate as your body ages and usually last around 2-3 years. I advise patients to do one vial of...
Thank you for your question. In theory, this can be done. I have used Sculptra in men's chests to fill and lift the upper chest with good results as well as the Sculptra Butt Lift. The problem is going to be on the cost side. Depending on how much enhancement you are seeking, it may take 20, 40...
