Borderline enlarged heart. Will this prevent me from undergoing my BBL and 360 lipo?

My Chest Xray for Pre Op says I have a borderline enlarged heart ,otherwise negative. I'm 29 years old with no medical problems. Will this prevent me from undergoing my bbl and 360 lipo? Thanks in advance!

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You might need to get a clearance from cardiologist prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Please talk to your primary doctor to get clearance for plastic surgery and then I suggest you book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss the best options for your goals.

With a written medical/cardiac clearances most private practice boarded PS would do your surgery. While clinic surgeons WOULD NOT! Best to use private practice ABPS certified PS.

That's a great question. A borderline enlarged heart is a non-specific finding seen commonly on imaging studies! Prior to proceeding with surgery, the surgeon should proceed with pre-operative clearance from your primary care physician.

If you are a good candidate (<5L of fat) for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique.
