What material is best for implant to labiomental fold? (Photo)

I’ve seen one case where permalip was used but the results weren’t very dramatic. Would a different material, such as gortex or advanta, be better for this area? Which would be better price wise?? Are the morph photos realistic for an implant?

Thank you for your question.  I have found that the most effective treatment for the labiomental fold is release of the soft tissues and fat grafting.  Best wishes to you.

The labvium mental fold is not well treated with implants.

If you push your tongue against the lower part of your bottom lip and then touch it with your finger tip you’ll realize something the tissue is where the volume is needed.

Fillers are far better than implants for this and I don’t think you’ll be happy with implants.  there’s a reason people don’t use implants in this part of the face.

Yes, gortex or any similar material is the easiest, best and carveable to adjust the fold etc. Obviously, the xray etc have to be analyzed for planning
