Had a meeting with a plastic surgeon about getting a chin implant to add projection. The plan is a size L extended anatomical implant, but we didn’t discuss the labiomental fold at all. Any advice is welcome!

The ability to raise the soft tissue of the chin from an intraoral approach is limited. Sometimes the soft tissue pad can be improved with a submental approach and chin tuck. Both approaches may be necessary. I would not recommend removal of the implant.
