Would it be possible for me to do a breast lift and tummy tuck at 5'6" and 200 lbs?

I am a 51 yearly female . 200lbs 5’6” I am wondering if it would be possible to do breast lift tummy tuck with those dimensions. I am fine with my weight but would like my breasts higher and tummy flatter More curves less rolls

generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a surgery, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. It would be ideal if you could lose more weight; however, if your weight has been stable for the past three months and you have consciously dieted and exercised, your labs are stable, and your internists clear you. It is possible that you can have these procedures. Your procedures would entail a mommy makeover essentially. During this procedure, excess skin and fat are removed, The mons are lifted and reduced, The belly button is re-established, and the rectus abdominal muscles are plicated. Yours is a challenging question without pictures. In general, a breast lift will vertically raise the nipple, reshape and centralize the breast tissue internally, and remove excess skin.
A tummy tuck will remove the excess skin and subcutaneous tissue in the lower abdomen (from the bellybutton to pubic hairline), while generally performing liposuction of the flanks to optimize the hourglass shape.
Everyone hold the weight differently, and I would suggest meeting with a plastic surgeon to determine whether your current weight and its distribution would be amenable to a breast lift and/or tummy tuck.

Based on your current Height and Weight, your BMI is around 32.
Ideally, in order to undergo elective cosmetic surgery such as Mommy Makeover, your BMI should be closer to 30-35 in order minimize the risk of post-operative complications.
Being at your goal weight, will also give you a better cosmetic result.

I think a breast lift with/without augmentation is achievable at your current weight. Every patient's weight distribution is different, so it's hard to say without seeing you. However, in general I counsel all patients with a BMI over 30 (yours is 32) that their risk of complications is higher and quality of results will be limited. If you're more "pear shaped," however, you may be good to go at your current weight. I think it would be worth seeing a surgeon for an evaluation in person. Enjoy!

Thank you for your question. It is possible to have a breast lift and tummy tuck done at the same time. I perform many mommy makeover procedures at my practice. That said, you would need to meet our Body Mass Index (BMI) requirement and be cleared for surgery by your doctor. The BMI is based on your height and weight. Our max BMI limit for this combo procedure is 33. That said, I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure your surgeon you choose has extensive experience with mommy makeovers and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. The safe operation time is 6 hours. You may or may not be able to get both done at the same time. I would begin with your breasts using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided and nipple sensation (in 95%) is maintained. For the abdomen, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

The short answer is yes that you may be able to have both.  You would need a complete examination and discussion of your goals to determine if the desired results are achievable at your current height and weight.  If that is the case, then you should discuss with your potential plastic surgeon the options of doing the procedures together or separately.  Sometimes, I do liposuction on the abdomen to debulk the fat and perform a second stage abdominoplasty a year later.  That decreases the risk of a tummy tuck on a person with a significantly heavy abdominal overhang.  Furthermore, there are different types and techniques of breast lifts, and you may choose with your surgeon one that is suitable for you whether it is done separately or in combination with abdominoplasty.
