I am a 51 yearly female . 200lbs 5’6” I am wondering if it would be possible to do breast lift tummy tuck with those dimensions. I am fine with my weight but would like my breasts higher and tummy flatter More curves less rolls
Answer: Am I a candidate? For elective plastic surgery it is recommended that a patient have a BMI of 30 or under. For you this would equate to a weight of 185lbs. Those above a BMI of 30 have increased risk of complications such as poor wound healing, seroma, and infection. It also allows the surgeon the opportunity to optimize your results. There are other considerations besides BMI, so if you do not plan to lose weight your candidacy would be need to be evaluated in person.

Answer: Surgery Without seeing any photos, it is possible to do both procedures. You might get better results doing liposuction of the abdomen and flanks first and then follow with a tuck 6 months later.

Answer: Mommy Makeover Thanks for your question! It is best to be at your ideal weight prior to surgery. This will give you the best surgical result. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best wishes!

Answer: It may be possible. Hi sd1234, Yours is a challenging question without pictures. In general, a breast lift will vertically raise the nipple, reshape and centralize the breast tissue internally, and remove excess skin. A tummy tuck will remove the excess skin and subcutaneous tissue in the lower abdomen (from the bellybutton to pubic hairline), while generally performing liposuction of the flanks to optimize the hourglass shape. Everyone hold the weight differently, and I would suggest meeting with a plastic surgeon to determine whether your current weight and its distribution would be amenable to a breast lift and/or tummy tuck. Hope this helps. Best,Christopher Pannucci, MD MSBoard Certified Plastic SurgeonPlastic Surgery NorthwestSpokane, Washington
