A couple of things on your case.... it is way too early to tell. Next a mini-TT is never as tight as a full tummy tuck but allows "creative" scar location such as your scar. A general principle to remember is that the further your scar is away from the skin you are trying to tighten, the less the effect- in short, your scar will always hide well but never get your skin really tight over your entire abdomen. I think your implants don't center well on your areola position...yet; this may settle though and I would encourage you to be patient. Best Wishes!!
Based on your photos, you are still early in your recovery, and it will take 9-12 months before you will see the outcome from surgery. I recommend discussing your concerns with your plastic surgeon but would not make any final assessment until that time.
You didn't mention how long ago you had surgery. It can take 9-12 months for you to see final results. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. It is important that you feel confident and comfortable in your recovery progress.
Dear hawaii55,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
You did not post how long ago was your procedure, but it appears to be fairly early. Your implants may still be sitting a little high which will make your nipples look low. If you are a t 6 months, then the areolae can still be raised and the pockets adjusted to let the implants settle down better. Your mini tuck did not address your upper abdomen, but your lower is improved. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
