Rhinoplasty still sensitive after rhinoplasty on 9/13/2021, is this normal?

I had my rhinoplasty done on 9/13/2021, the tip of my nose is still very hard and sensitive to touch. The bridge between the nostrils is also very sensitive and bothers me a lot when touching it. When wearing a mask it bothers my nose and causes a headache. Is this still normal for this long to have these issues?

Good Afternoon! Since it's been that long, it may be worthwhile revisiting with your surgeon to see what may be going on. Rarely, subclinical infections exist and can present with pain. A steroid injection may help if there's persistent swelling. There are some patients who experience pain chronically which we cannot explain. Either way, I would seek consultation with your surgeon to make sure there isn't a problem. Hope this helps.
