I had my breast aug 1 yr ago. I've recently started having severe migraines. Almost daily. My general doctor thinks it may be the breast aug, since there has been no drastic changes to my lifestyle otherwise. I have silicone unders, how do I go about checking for a rupture or tears? And how do I know if it's from the breast aug?

Answer: Migraines after breast augmentation There is not a direct correlation with breast implants and migraine headaches. To ease your mind about a possible rupture of your implant, I suggest that you get an MRI of both breasts. As another plastic surgeon mentioned, in the event that a rupture has occurred, there is not a connection between the rupture and migraines.Best of luck,

Answer: Can my 1 yr breast aug lead to migraines? Thank you for your question. There is no evidence that states a correlation between breast augmentations and migraines. In the years I have been practicing, I have never heard of it. Many women have migraines and many women have breast augmentations, which is just a coincidence.
