Will c-section scar be an issue with liposuction?

Question

I'm 46 years old in about 60 pounds overweight I'm 46 years old in about 60 pounds overweight. The first child I gain 50 it was able to lose about 30 pounds my second child I gained 60 it was able to lose 40 pounds. My third child I gained 70 pounds and was able to lose 40 this was about 13 years ago. My last c section left a T cut in my uterus and a lot of scarring tissue at the incision. My belly fat just hangs there . will this create any problems if I decide to get liposuction

The C-section scar can sometimes give the appearance of a bulge
above it.This can sometimes be improved
with liposuction.However, if there is a
significant amount of hanging skin and fat, a tummy tuck would be better
indicated.It is best to follow-up with
your Plastic Surgeon for more specific questions.

From your description, I would recommend considering Abdominoplasty and/or liposuction with scar revision.  Consult with a few plastic surgeon that specializes in all those areas.

C-section scars are often stuck down so that loose skin and fat hang over them. Liposuction can reduce the amount of over hang but not release the stuck down scar. Abdominoplasty, or liposuction with scar revision, should be considered. Consult with a plastic surgeon that offers all those options and not just someone who only does liposuction.

Pictures would be very helpful in your case.  However, from your description, I suspect you will probably require some form of abdominoplasty with liposuction.

You can most certainly have liposuction after a C-section. You just
have to be careful in that area because there is a lot of scarring.Sometimes the scar is tethered or indented
and liposuction may actually release this giving it a more pleasing look.
