Am I treating the hole correct? I have been cleaning it with antibacterial soap and have been covering it with a non stick guaze. Does it look infected Will it ever heal It burns and hurts. I can't gwt ahold of my ps.
Answer: Post op concerns You should make an appointment with your plastic surgeon for an in person examination as the symptoms you are describing could indicate a number of things. More pictures would be helpful, but having your doctor examine you and prescribe further treatment is probably necessary. Good luck!

Answer: Find a new PS Can't get a hold of your PS? I guess they only answer the phone when patients are ready to pay for surgery. The complication doesn't bother me as much as the fact that they have ignored you in your time of need. Basically you need professional expertise that can't be given online. For patients with skin loss (skin death looks black) the treatment is removal of the skin. Hopefully you have healthy tissue beneath the dead skin so your implant is still protected. IF not, the implant will also need to be removed.

Answer: Healing Concern for Breast Augmentation and Lift Its best seek advice from your surgeon. If you are experiencing severe redness, swelling, oozing of any kind or odor, it is important to call the office and speak with the doctor or medical staff. You may need to be seen in the office and evaluated. If the wound becomes separated or you develop a small opening, this again should be evaluated so that appropriate steps can be taken as soon as possibleWhen my patients have concerns about #healing or anything at all, they are directed to call and discuss these concerns, or to schedule an in person exam.

Answer: On February 8th 2016 I had a Bl w/ a lift. I now have a hole in my breast. Thank you for your question and I am sorry to see your wound healing difficulties. Though it does not appear infected, I would recommend reaching out to a series of board certified plastic surgeons in your area to see if one of them would be willing to see you and make wound care recommendations to help you heal this. I am attaching a link below to a website that should find local surgeons listed based on distance from your location. Hope this helps.
