How long should I expect the results of Facetite to last? Versus the results of a facelift surgery?

Patients who opt for Facetite are seeking a more youthful look but do not want to deal with an invasive surgery, the scars of a face lift, or the recovery time.  Results of a face lift typically last about 10 years depending upon the level of undermining, level of support of deeper tissues, and amount of skin removed along with patient dependent factors; Facetite, about five, but it can be combined with Fractora to provide improved results over time.

Thank you for your question. The facetite system is a relatively new technology that works by a radiofrequency circuit, shrink wrapping the skin. The system works by stimulating new collagen production and can take time to see results. In general we have found on average 30% improvement in tightening of the skin. A facelift is a surgical procedure that once recovered will yield immediate results. The amount of tightening achieved from a facelift is determined by the surgeon and patient and does not rely on collagen production. The amount of time that these 2 procedures last is determined by individual patients genetics and how they age, but in general, a facelift will last much longer.
