The expected duration of results from a single treatment of Facetite can be up to three to five years. The results can be extended by combining treatment with Fractora, as well as periodic Fractora treatments post-operatively. Surgically, facelifts are meant to last 8-10 years before significant aging signs return. Much of the lasting power of a lift is determined by the technique(s) that are used, so this is an important discussion to have with your surgeon. Good luck!
FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
The results of FaceTite can last up to five years - this does not mean that in five years you will go back to your pre-procedure look, but you may begin to see gradual reduction in overall tightness, similar to the natural aging product. Since this lasts about half the time of a face lift surgical procedure, it is ideal for people who may not be quite ready for a full on face lift - whether this is due to the down time or current facial aging appearance.Hope this helps & best of luck !
Patients who opt for Facetite are seeking a more youthful look but do not want to deal with an invasive surgery, the scars of a face lift, or the recovery time. Results of a face lift typically last about 10 years depending upon the level of undermining, level of support of deeper tissues, and amount of skin removed along with patient dependent factors; Facetite, about five, but it can be combined with Fractora to provide improved results over time.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question. The facetite system is a relatively new technology that works by a radiofrequency circuit, shrink wrapping the skin. The system works by stimulating new collagen production and can take time to see results. In general we have found on average 30% improvement in tightening of the skin. A facelift is a surgical procedure that once recovered will yield immediate results. The amount of tightening achieved from a facelift is determined by the surgeon and patient and does not rely on collagen production. The amount of time that these 2 procedures last is determined by individual patients genetics and how they age, but in general, a facelift will last much longer. In our office we offer 3D imaging to give our patients a realistic idea of what their final result will look like. I hope that helps!
Thank you for your question. FaceTite is a new procedure that utilizes radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to simultaneously dissolve fat and tighten the skin. FaceTite results are long-lasting and immediately visible. Typically, most patients see the best results after an average of 6 weeks. Results of a FaceLift generally last 8-10 years. For more information, please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
Hi and thanks for the question. To start, a facelift will last you anywhere from a few years to up to 8+ years. This really depends on the quality of the starting tissue, meaning, the younger you are when you get a facelift, the longer the results last, in general. FaceTite, in comparison, offers a permanent soft-tissue tightening with very respectable results, but it cannot be compared to a facelift in terms of its efficacy and longevity of result. Having said that, it is by all accounts, the next best thing to a more invasive facelift procedure.Warmest Regards,Doctor Vallecillos, MD, FACS, Diplomate, American Board of Plastic Surgery
I always tell my patients that there area a variety of factors that can contribute to how long a result will last. There are environmental factors, your genetics, and how you treat you body....all of which contribute to the longevity of the result. I would like to believe that the tightening effect can last up to 5 years. Important to remember that this is not a surgical facelift and will not give you the same result. It gives about 40-50% of the result of a surgical facelift and when combined with a resurfacing device like Fractora, your result can be optimized. I hope this helps!
We have been doing facetite, by Inmode, procedures for about 14 months. We are seeing up to 60-70% of the result of a facelift, but this is on less heavy patients that have more laxity and not real heavy or fatty jowls. Speaking to colleagues in Canada and Europe the results are lasting about 3-4 years. Its great as there really is no downtime and can be easily done in the office with just local anesthetic. I have a lot of patients that do it in conjunction with a facelift to help reduce the size of their jowls or to address neck fat at the same time as a lower facelift. We have a number of patients that also just do it to hold off on facelifting surgery. Typical facelifting procedures hold for 5-10 years dependent upon a lot of factors such as the amount of laxity, and how aggressive the lift that is performed. Dermal fillers (e.g, Radiesse, Restylane) can help volumize and more naturally correct other facial aging changes and is a great adjunct to a natural appearing result facelift procedure. Best regards.
The procedure itself is not a reversible procedure meaning it does not return to its prior state, but you will continue to age. It has about 50% of the effect of a face lift. I recommend this surgery to people who are not quite to the point of needing a face lift, are unable to undergo anesthesia, not wanting incisions and/or are scared of undergoing surgery.
