I am 5'2 130lbs .... I have a 13.5 breast wide. According to my doctor these were the right fit for me. However they are moderate profile. These are 425 cc moderate( the max I could go based on BW) ... I wanted HP but according to the chart for the Same max BW it was putting me at 512cc which the doctor thought it would have been too big. See pictures; do you think I could have gone high profile. It's been bothering me for months!!! Or was my PS right with the choice of moderate? See pictures
Answer: Could I have gone high profile? Picking the volume and profile of breast implants involves art as well as science. This is why you may have varying opinions on what would be the best implant for you. Remember though, that your surgeon has had years of training and practice, and it is not realistic to believe that you can make a better selection than he or she. Trust that your surgeon made the best choice for you and enjoy your new breasts, rather than searching to see if it could have been better.

Answer: Implant profile Dear MarieRA, implant profile is a very important consideration. Many patients wrongly assume that the higher the profile the better. The truth is, the more profile (or projection/height) and implant has, the narrower its base has to become. This has several problematic consequences. The first is that the patient loses width and therefor cleavage of the breast. The second is the breast becomes more narrow and pendulous, often falling lateral and onto the side of the chest, and third, high profile implants have a higher risk of bottoming out because they exert more pressure on the inframammary fold than moderate profile implants. High profile implants do have a role in symmastia repair (when I need to narrow the basewidth) but otherwise I try to avoid them. Answer: Implants Your implants are crammed together now so please do not go larger. A higher profile with your current size would have a more narrow base which might fit better. Going larger with a higher profile will not fit well.

Answer: Choosing the right breast implant profile Marie When the implant diameter is wider than your chest, you may have too much cleavage or "side-boob" This is a situation where a higher profile may be useful. Consideration must be given to the appearance you desire, roundness volume, bra size , projection. The patient must help the doctor with her wishes and decisions. Breast implants come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and profiles in order to offer a custom-fit and natural-looking physique. It is also important to consider the substance and texture of an implant. In particular, those implants approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are filled with silicone or saline. These materials impact the feel and look of a breast implant, and thus are an important consideration in determining the desired appearance of your breasts. According to studies, more than 90% of women are satisfied with the results of a breast augmentation. This is largely because the procedure often improves a woman’s self-esteem, not to mention quality of life. We aim to custom-tailor your breast augmentation based on your preferences for perkiness, firmness, shape, and size. Our goal is to match the appropriate implant type with the right procedure so that you are completely satisfied. The most popular way to improve breast size and shape is breast augmentation performed by cosmetic plastic surgeons. Generally speaking, seek out Board Certified Plastic Surgeons with a great deal of experience for best results. Those plastic surgeons that have specialized in breast reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, such as the surgeons at Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery, are a great fit for your breast augmentation needs.

Answer: Breast implants First of all ignore the bwd measurement. It is meaningless. Yes you could have gone high profile but your result would not have been much different than it already is. It’s a good result
