I got my BA August 2021, 490ccs. I love the way my breasts look and love the size but I don’t like how I don’t have cleavage. I have to wear a push up bra to achieve that look and one of the reasons why I got a BA was to eliminate bras. I was wondering if upsizing my breast implants would give me the cleavage I want or should I just leave my breasts as is? For reference I am 5’2, 112 pounds.
Answer: Breasts Please do not go bigger. Your breasts naturally are somewhat wide apart, and the bases cannot be moved. Use a bra to do what you want. Do not go without a bra because your implants are too heavy and your tissue will sag without support.

Answer: Cleavage Dear sav444, based on your photos, it looks like bigger size implants won't improve your cleavage significantly. Many women seek improved cleavage. Narrowing the cleavage plane can be done very carefully by a skilled surgeon. Moving the implants too far medially can result in synmastia or unaboob which is very difficult to correct. That being said, the right amount of pocket dissection and implant selection can create excellent cleavage. Answer: Cleavage Cleavage is determined by your anatomy- space between breasts, footprints of breasts, width, where breasts end, etc which cannot be changed with larger implants. Cleavage will be different for different body types, breast anatomy which has limitations. The pockets may be opened slightly toward the middle to accommodate larger implants, but breasts will still not touch. May not be worth the risks. Further discussion with your/a plastic surgeon is recommended.

Answer: Breast implants: do larger implants provide more cleavage? Implant Size: A Delicate Balance Selecting the ideal implant size requires a delicate balance between achieving desired fullness and maintaining natural proportions. Here's a glimpse into the key considerations: 1. Proportional Harmony: Every individual possesses unique body proportions. An adept surgeon evaluates factors such as height, weight, chest width, and existing breast tissue to recommend implant sizes that harmonize with the patient's physique seamlessly. 2. Aesthetic Goals: Clear communication between patient and surgeon is paramount in articulating aesthetic aspirations. Whether aiming for a subtle enhancement or a bold transformation, transparent dialogue fosters alignment of expectations and facilitates optimal outcomes. 3. Lifestyle Integration: The chosen implant size should seamlessly integrate with the patient's lifestyle and activity level. Active individuals may opt for smaller implants to ensure freedom of movement and comfort during physical pursuits. 4. Precision Measurements: Accurate measurements of breast dimensions, including base width and tissue thickness, inform the selection of implants that accentuate natural contours and ensure symmetrical results. 5. Trial Sessions: Many reputable clinics offer trial sessions where patients can "try on" various implant sizes using specialized sizers or bras. This hands-on approach empowers patients to visualize the potential outcomes and actively participate in the decision-making process. Implant Profile: Crafting Projection and Form The profile of a silicone implant determines its projection from the chest wall, playing a pivotal role in shaping the final aesthetic. Here's a glimpse into the primary implant profiles: 1. Low Profile: Characterized by a wider base and subtle projection, low-profile implants are ideal for individuals seeking a modest enhancement or possessing broader chest dimensions. They impart a natural appearance with minimal forward projection. 2. Moderate Profile: Offering a balanced projection, moderate-profile implants cater to a diverse range of body types and aesthetic preferences. They strike a harmonious balance between fullness and projection, yielding aesthetically pleasing contours. 3. High Profile: With a narrower base and heightened projection, high-profile implants accentuate upper pole fullness and cleavage. Ideal for those desiring a more pronounced augmentation, they deliver a striking silhouette with enhanced projection. Embracing Consultation and Collaboration: Embarking on the journey to silicone implant selection necessitates a collaborative partnership between patient and surgeon. A thorough consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon serves as the cornerstone of this transformative process.
