Xeomin and botox don't work for me - advice?

Question

Hi, I have a question. Nothing is working at all. I've had botox injected for the last 15 years and it always worked. About a 1 1/2 years ago I had Botulax injected from Korea and ever since then nothing as worked at all. Dysport, botox, and xeomin. Recently I had Xeomin again and it has done 0. I was reading about thermirase but It's not widely used. Any suggestions? I've been to several providers since this has happened. I think I'm immune to the botox itself.

It appears you are developing resistance or antibodies to Botox. I would try the newest FDA approved brand of Botox - Daxxify and see if this works for you. We have used it on a patient that developed resistance to the other brands and it's working.

If you've used several neuromodulators with no improvement you may be immune.  You may want to try Daxxify which is a longer lasting neurotoxin. In the meantime keep your skin in healthy condition by using medical grade skin care products such as Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day.

Immunity to botox is not common, however sometimes you may have to go to a higher dose as our muscles change over time. I recommend going to see a local board certified dermatologist to get their recommendation in person.
