There
is very little recovery time after explant under local anesthesia.  However, your skin will be excessive and breasts
will droop.  The preferred technique is
explantation and a lift and I recommend The Bellesoma Method.  This will reshape your breast tissue creating
upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and
more medial to increase your cleavage. 
Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast
feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery.  This technique is done under general

 implant removal under local anesthetic typically has a fast recovery time .and you may be able to return to your normal life  within a few days.
