W. Tracy Hankins, MD

After much deliberation, I finally made the trip to see Dr. Hankins, thanks to my dermatologist’s recommendation. From the very first meeting, I felt a sense of comfort and understanding. He explained everything in a way that made sense to me, and he really listened to my concerns. The surgery and recovery went smoothly, and the entire staff was incredibly helpful. A year later, I can’t believe how much better I look. I highly recommend Dr. Hankins to anyone who’s looking for a great plastic surgeon.

Decided to go to Hankins and Sohn for my breast augmentation. I wa recommended by a friend she showed me hers and I liked theway they looked and felt. I was thinking about going for 300-350 cc cause I didn't wanna go too big and wanted something around a C cup even though I didn't really know much about the cc and sizing except for the pictures online. Booked my consultation and dr Hankins recommended I got for at least 350 cc and they measured my chest diaphragm 13 inches. so the biggest size I can go that would fit my 13inch chest diaphragm would be 430cc as that would 12.9inchs. I almost went with that size but out of fear I went with the 390 cc size. All the staff at the Hankins and John Henderson office were super nice and answer every question I had. even the emails and calls and texts I sent them they were responded to me in timely manner. I also changed my size in breast about 4 times and one of the times was the night before surgery. I greatly appreciated that.

Day of surgery appointment was at 8am I got home around 2pm woke up super groggy and in a little pain they wrapped tight in my wraps. There is a super tight feeling on my chest. Was in and out of sleep during the day, had to sit up right on my bed with a bunch of pillows. Sleeping was terrible I don’t think I slept but even in wraps I could tell now that I have boobs, it’s an exciting feeling but also scary I hope I didn’t go too big.

Forgot to post before pictures I have probably an A cup, I gained a little weight over the years and was maybe almost a b but been flat all my life and was tired of not filling tops or feeling like a 12 year old lol

Day 1 post surgery I had my post op appointment with the dr. He took off the bandages and said everything g looks good even tho I felt so much tightness and a little pain. But that’s all normal for the healing process. Told me to just take it easy and remember to sleep upright. When they took off the bandages I didn’t even want to look at them I was in a little shock just a tiny bit , probably the pain made me not want to look at them lol they put me in some compression bras and the first couple days they did rub against my incision which was an uncomfortable feeling. One of the girls told me I could put a pad under the bra to help, but I think I used tissue paper instead to help from the rubbing. I bought some new compression bras from Amazon , they’re bigger and more material so it helped with the rubbing. They feel super tight and high on my chest. It feels so abnormal like it’s not even my body.

Night two of sleeping was hard, but better then first day , Hurts to get up from bed or couch. The implants feel so weird on my chest and they’re sitting really high on my body. Am feeling a little depressed not knowing how they’ll drop. But I am trying to stay positive and trust the process. Towards the end of day the bortom half of my breasts feels numb to touch. I been icing them a lot. They’re definitely just really swollen

Still pretty swollen, pain isn’t as bad just hurts to use the muscle. I went back to work after a week and I was pretty beat after the first day, definitely gonna take it easier the next week. Mentally still feeling low only cause I’m not used to them yet. It’s a little bit of shock. But still staying at hopeful as I can. Talking to my friends and family helps.

waking up with morning boob still, little easier to get up from the bed, right side is starting to drop a little , left side still very tight , pain mostly on left side near incision, right side bottom portion is numb nipples are a little sore still feels hard, tight chest. Still feeling like two objects are glued to my chest not yet feeling like my own but mentally feeling a little better át the day goes by

Sorry lagging on the post, they’ve definitely dropped now and theyre so much softer. All my old tops fit still and now I fill in the cleavage part of the tops which is great. I thought 390cc was too big but it’s not, honestly probably could have went to the next size 430 cc but I’m not gonna dwell on it.

So crazy the difference each week, I can’t believe it’s been 3 months now. I still sleep with the sports bra, they say you have to for at least a year. Totally feels fine sleeping without one and on my belly. Sometimes I feel a slight ache pain around my incision area but it’s usually after I work out I feel it. I will ask my doctor about it when I see him for my 6 months if I still feel it. I love them I can’t imagine my life without them now. I understand why people can “regret” not going bigger cause I could have definitely gone bigger , it honestly they are the perfect size. Conservative size while still being perky and plumped. Sometimes I feel like they are too small but sometimes it feels like they are too big lol I’m naturally shy so although I like them I feel shy to show them off so 390 cc was perfect.

I’m 35 yrs old had 457cc silicone implants removed after 10 yrs. I decided to have the explant due to Breast implant illness issues. I was suffering for 2 yrs and had enough. Dr. Hankins was incredible he gave me exactly what I wanted if not more. I am happy with my natural state for the first time in my life (scars and all). Dr. Hankins listened to me and did what he thought was best for me and my appearance. I didn’t care what size I was after surgery just wanted to feel good again. Bambi the aftercare specialist was amazing. She helped me with my recovery the entire way! No matter the time she was there even during Christmas! Best surgeon hands down. Best staff too! Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

First augmentation 1997 after 2 pregnancies and breastfeeding (got huge from pregnancy and breastfeeding) left 32A’s deflated and sagging. Don’t know the cc’s on silicone implants but I ended up 34c. Implants ruptured after about 10 years. Breasts were soft and lumpy but not painful or hard. Never got any illnesses from them.

Consultation with Dr Hankins in 2006 after my daughter’s friend recommended him. Surgery went well and Dr removed ruptured implants and gooey silicone. Replaced with Mentor 500cc, HP I think. No lift needed.

Turned 70 and I wanted a slimmer profile with smaller implants. Getting older with heavy implants, slight weight fluctuations and stretching of the breasts, I felt and looked more matronly.

Even though we moved out of state, I went back to Dr Hankins. I trust him and he listened to what I wanted and understood my concerns.

Surgery went well and no problems with the anesthesia. Sientra 355cc moderate profile over the muscles with a lift.

The Dr has a great staff and Bambi has been awesome in my aftercare remotely via text or cell phone.

Only 3 narcos 2 days after surgery which was the most painful day. Next day only 1 extra strength Tylenol. Sore off and on next few weeks but nothing unbearable. Worst was sleeping on my back. Lol. Used neck pillow and recliner to keep me at an angle.

5’5”. 124 lbs. slim build.

Once I get before and after pictures, I will post. Trying to upload picture I just took, but says file too large. I have to work on that. I’m not to savvy on tech stuff. Lol.

Finally figured how to post a picture. Once I get the before and 4 weeks after, I will post. Hopefully this will give the RS community an idea of a 70 year old that has had 3 augmentation surgeries over many years.

Healing is good and I started on Biocoreneum. Implants are soft and I’m back on my elliptical. Also doing my leg lifts on my weight bench and sit-ups. Don’t like wearing a support bra 24/7 but I have an investment to keep up. Lol.

Still healing after 10 weeks. No issues and bruises fading. Using Biocoreneum twice a day still. Wearing support 24/7. Can’t wait until I don’t have to. Lol. Sientra implants are worth it the extra I had to pay.

Everything is great. So impressed with the Sientra implants. Very soft and so much better than my previous implants. I’m glad I went smaller because it compliments my small frame and I don’t feel matronly.

At the 6 month mark. No issues and I actually think I could have went smaller. I think they look and feel natural and I’m still wearing support most of the time. Have an investment here and no more surgeries for me! Lol

9 months picture. Did my last check up with surgeon. No issues. I’m 70 years old so I feel this is the last BA. Had 3 BA’s from 1977 to 2021. Always had a job and no sickness from any of the implants. First set both sides ruptured and had silicone floating in my breast tissues for decades.

About a month or so ago I went in for a breast augmentation consultation with Dr. Hankins. A good friend of mine referred me to him. She hasn’t gotten work done by him yet but she heard nothing but the best from her friends. So I decided to finally take the leap and book the appointment. I’ve been wanting this procedure done for years and let me just say that it’s the best decision I’ve made and I couldn’t be happier with choosing Dr. Hankins and his team.

First the consultation was easy and comforting, Dr. Hankins gave me the best recommendations for my shape and size to meet my expectations. I never once felt uncomfortable or uncertain about the procedure.

After some talk, Dr. Hankins stepped out I started trying on sizes with Angela. She made me feel so comfortable and confident about the shape and size that I chose after the recommendations Dr. Hankins provided us with.

Fast forward to surgery date. Dr Hankins marked me up prior to surgery and after the surgery I went straight home and felt really good. 2-3 hours post surgery I was fully alert and in no pain whatsoever. Nurse Bambi called before and after the surgery to check on me and answer and questions I had.
Second day I went for post op at the office and again, I was in no pain and I was so happy with the outcome as soon as the wrap came off.

Now, keep in mind that I’m swollen and the breasts are still going to settle and transform in the next few months but already I could tell that the work was just phenomenal. Two days post op I wasn’t taking any pain medication anymore. I could move easily and still felt great.

A few days ago I went back to remove the stitches and yet again, the entire team was just wonderful. Dr Hankins was very happy with the recovery so far, as he should be…His work is just incredible! I could rave non stop about every single team member of his and himself.

All in all, I’m proud of my choice and I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon and team. I can’t wait to continue this recovery and get the final results.

Dr Hankins did a breast lift and augmentation on me about 10 years ago. I absolutely loved my results and his professionalism. I moved away to a different state but when I decided I wanted to get more done I didn’t even bother to look in my home state but booked a consult with Dr Hankins. He again reassured me of his ability to achieve my desired results so I booked my appointment and made arrangements to stay in Vegas for 2 weeks of recovery so that I could again have surgery by Dr Hankins. I am 2 and a half weeks out and I am delighted with my results. I can’t say enough about Dr Hankins and his staff. About 12 weeks ago, (Dec 5) I got a breast augmentation. It seems a little late in life because I’m 47, but my kids are all grown, I just got married and this is the very first thing I have ever “selfishly” done for myself...and I am BEYOND HAPPY with my results!!! I’m a thicker sized girl (5’2 and I weigh 160lbs) and I went from having very small breasts (small B if that) to getting 550cc implants. I am now a cup size D/DD. I have always battled with my self-esteem...I either felt over-weight, or I didn’t feel sexy enough or feminine enough in clothing that should have made me feel pretty.
