I recently had liposuction of my upper arms, axilla and bra roll on November 2nd. I know it’s only been 12 days out since surgery, but there’s this hard lump that’s pretty big that I’m concerned about. The doctor’s office said to just give it time and massage daily, but it doesn’t look like its going to go away. I still wear my compression garment everyday too. Can someone tell me if this is normal?

Thanks for your question, jsua87.
Although ultrasonic cavitation is a noninvasive procedure, it’s still best to ask your licensed neurologist about it before proceeding. He knows your condition completely so he can give you more personalized recommendations.
Good luck!
Bunsynoodle. I appreciate your concern, however it can take as long as six months for complete recovery after liposuction. This includes reduction of all swelling and skin retraction. Try to stay patient and positive and follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to safely receive liposuction even if you take blood pressure medications. As long as the blood pressure is well-controlled this can be performed and your plastic surgeon will perform a proper evaluation to make sure you are safe.
