My eyes are bulgy by birth . Because of this i lost my self confidence. My thyroid level also normal . Is orbital decompression a good step for me or not?

Thank you for your query. An orbital decompression procedure in the absence of thyroid disease or  functional eye  problems   is not recommended. You can ,however, get a canthopexy with orbicularis muscle suspension procedure to improve the appearance of your eyes. Enlarging doorbell socket is a fairly standard treatment for eczema Sallows. My best guess is this is most frequently done by ocular plastic surgeons.
To make a quality assessment, we generally need to see the whole face in context. There are other variables that can contribute to the appearance of exophthalmus, like lack of projection of the mid face.
Sometimes augmenting, the midface can help restore a better appearance, either eliminating the need for exophthalmus surgery or doing less of it. Resetting your eyeball position has a significant amount of secondary issues like changing the tension on your extraocular muscles.
