I received 1 ML total of Restylane Filler in April with no issues. In early July, I noticed the filler in my top lip had become hard on each side. Since this was my first time, I didn’t think much. Then 4 days later, my top lip swelled significantly. Was prescribed 5 days of steroids which helped swelling but filler was still hard so the top lip was dissolved. Top lip is still hard. A week later, now my bottom lip is swollen. Any idea what is going on? Will I ever be able to get filler again?

Hi there,
I am not sure how the filler was injected but if the filler isn't placed deep enough; on the orbital bone in some cases, it can affect the lymphatic drainage system. I am assuming this is the case. RF can help with that. Follow up with your injector for an RF treatment.
Best of luck!
