Will a lip lift solve allow my teeth to show? (Photos)

Question

When I open my mouth, my upper teeth don't show at all. When I smile, I have no problem , but I have to literally smile for them to show. Also when I am talking to someone it looks weird because my teeth don’t show and it looks like I’m not even opening my mouth. I've had 3 or 4 times lip injections in the past, but very subtle things. Could you please advise if a lip lift is a suitable option for me or if there might be another solution to the problem?

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You may not be a good candidate for a lip lift because the distance your nose and upper lip is short.

Yes, you would be a great candidate for a 3D lip lift and a medialized corner lip lift (which is as important as a lip lift). The 3D lip lift is an ameliorated version of the traditional lip lift, resulting in less scarring and a better long lasting outcome.

Yes - that's the best answer for tooth show. Your lip doesn't seem very long in the photos, but, a lip lift is typically the answer for this.  A photo with your teeth or smiling will help too.

Based on you photos, it does not look like lip lift would help. However, only on the basis of in person evaluation, one could decide whether muscle shortening only, without skin excision would help? Good luck.
