the operation was done 6 months ago. There is a very noticeable scar under my nose and it seems that now my filtrum is too short. What can I do about it?

If scar tissue does form, some patients may benefit from corticosteroid injections. A series of carefully targeted injections can help reduce the appearance and extensiveness of the scar tissue. The ideal length of the philtrum the area between the base of the nose and the top of the upper lip is commonly considered to be around 11-13 millimeters for women and slightly longer for men. However, these measurements are averages and can vary based on individual facial structures and ethnic characteristics. Upon reviewing your case, it appears that the distance between your nose and lips aligns well with the size of your lips, providing a balanced and harmonious appearance.

You are only 6 months post op, you should leave it for the moment. In some people in can take up to a year to fully heal. You can also stretch your upper lip by pursing your lips together for a minute at a time.
