Swollen at night time - 2 weeks post op lift and implants.

In the morning my breast feel swollen for 30 mins once i start moving it goes which i know is normal. However at night time (say from 9pm onwards) they start to feel more swollen and heavy again - Im still sat upright even if its on the sofa and walking occasionally but every night they get more swollen and firmer. Is this normal and if so, why? Thank you!

It's hard to tell where the bacterial exactly came from. It could have happened during the surgery but it also could have happened at home. I would see your surgeon frequently for the best results at this point.Best Regards Dr Gartner

Sutures do sometimes "spit" after surgery (even dissolvable sutures).  I do not believe it has anything to do with suture removal.  The dressing changes should help the wound heal over time.  This may take some time depending on the wound size.  Good luck and be safe.Respectfully, John T. Ngu...
