I have breasts but they are like pancakes. I am embarrassed in front of my husband of 34 years. My daughter just told my oldest son I was planning on getting a boob job. I became extremely embarrassed. He told I am 90 and there is something wrong with me. I wanted to cry. Is it ridiculous for me to consider breast implants and a lift? Please advise!

Answer: Breast surgery It is extremely common for women in their 50's (and older) to undergo cosmetic procedures. Maintaining fitness and diet is unfairly complicated by menopausal hormone changes which cannot be controlled. Resulting breast appearances can be easily restored, usually with a combination of breast lift and implants for upper fullness. An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations. This also includes lift details, implant size, etc.

Answer: Too old for surgery? You are definitely not too old for surgery. If you have good health, then you are probably a good candidate for surgery. During the past month I did a augmentation/lift and tummy tuck on a woman in her late 60's who was healthy and has a great result. I hope you start getting the support you deserve from your family. Good luck.
