I had otoplasty surgery years ago, around one year after my surgery i began to develop a keloid scar behind my right ear, it grew to a fair size before i began steroid injections. I then noticed a small one begin behind the left ear, which again, years after initial operation. I have ZERO evidence of keloids anywhere else on my body, infact, i have many scars, all of which are completely normal. Ive had the keloids removed today, any idea why i developed them in first place? Allergy to sutures?

Thank you for your question. I would advise to keep your head elevated and sleeping on a reclining chair. Don't wear any hats while you are healing. Hope this information helps.
Thank you for your question.Stitches alone will not fix your problem. Skin has grown does into the tear and will prevent healing if the two edges are just stitched together. This can still be fixed with an office procedure but will require removal of the tissue inside of the tear and then moving...
At your age, your ear cartilage has hardened to the point that it no longer pliable. Therefore, the earphones are extremely unlikely to change your ears in any way.
