How can I help to speed up recovery after otoplasty?

I've just had otoplasty surgery in poland and wanted to know is there Anything I can do to help speed up recovery or aid in recovery eg multi vitamins, amino, would eating a certain diet help? And can I ice my ears to reduce swelling

Thank you for your question. I would advise to keep your head elevated and sleeping on a reclining chair. Don't wear any hats while you are healing. Hope this information helps.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Aside from what you are currently doing there are not many therapies that will increase the recovery after otoplasty surgery.  Perhaps the most effective treatment would be to keep the head elevated.  Consider sleeping on an incline (30 degrees or so). A recliner chair works very well for this purpose. In general, ice would not be recommended after otoplasty.
