I am a 29 female, 60kg, 165cm I had 415cc Sebbin (Firm Mammary Implant, Smooth, High Profile) placed under the muscle, I was an A cup before. I am 10 weeks post op, my right breast has been riding high, and looks squarish, and deformed, the nipple is placed at the bottom, I don’t feel any progress happened to that breast. is it normal or will i need a revision in the future?
Answer: Implant position at 10 weeks It is unusual for smooth, round 415 mL implants to take longer than 6 weeks to drop and fill out the lower breast. I need to know the technique used in placing the implant under the muscle: dual plane 1, dual plane 2, dual plane 3. It would also be helpful to see photos of your breast from before your surgery. Were your breasts different in shape? Was there any indication of a right breast hematoma (bleeding after surgery)? Are the implants equally soft? Do you suspect capsular contracture? Implant massage and compression (ACE wrap over the upper breast) to push the implant down can help.

Answer: Implants You are still very early in the healing phase and your implant may still drop. I would suggest wearing a chest band to assist. External ultrasound treatments could also be helpful.

Answer: Do I have a high riding breast that wont drop, or do I need a revision after 6 months? (photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Nothing replaces an in-person examination but at 10 weeks I would expect you to need a revision procedure in the future to help allow the right side to settle into its pocket a bit better. I would discuss with your surgeon the best steps to follow in order to improve your current results over the next several months and then pursue surgery as indicated.

Answer: BA results Dear A Self, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Do I need revision You are still a bit early in your recovery, but if you have seen no improvement further intervention may be necessary. The implants may be too large for your frame which could lead to the issues you are having. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
