Can I still do rhinoplasty after Bellafill on my nose 5 years ago?

Hello after non surgical procedure you can have a surgery but it will effect for the result and you will need to melt if you did filler injection

Whenever there is a foreign body or previous surgery on the nose, there is an anticipated level of scar tissue and/or swelling that will likely make the surgery much more challenging for your surgeon. I would ensure that you inform your surgeon about this and make sure that it has been evaluated. I would personally ultrasound the nose. I would highly recommend seeing a board eligible or board certified plastic surgeon for a physical exam and accurate analysis with safe recommendations for potential surgical options. Best of luck!

Good Afternoon! Bellafill can cause long-term changes underneath the skin given that it's PMMA. It's hard to tell if any complications would occur as a result. If the procedure is performed open, then the surgeon may be able to see any residual scarring or product left which can be removed. If it was a small amount in a specific area, it may be less concerning. But if significant amounts were placed, it may make the rhinoplasty more challenging and could compromise the skin. Make sure to discuss this with your prospective surgeon. Hope this helps!

There is no harm in performing rhinoplasty after the elephant injection. With pre-operative injections, these elephants are dissolved and the remaining elephants are resected during the operation. Not all elephants can be resected in those who want to have closed surgery only. But when the open approach is made, there will be no problem.
