Specially my whole cheek area is covered in dark spots,im tired of spending a lot of money in make ups to even out my skin tone,does laser really work?

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

A combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend lasers (IPL combined with Fraxel), microneedling/prp, Cosmelan and TCA peels gives great results. Cost and amount of sessions needed will vary, but I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Thank you for your question and posting pictures.  First, you should be wearing a physician grade sun screen every day!  This is something we see and treat every day in our practice.  Depending on your skin type, you may be a candidate for a series of IPL treatments.  It should only be done on Skin Types I-III with no sun exposure.  Summer is probably not the best time to start IPL treatments.  We can recommend a series of PicoSure FOCUS treatments any time of year.  It is safe for all skin types.  We will always recommend that you avoid sun exposure and use a quality sun screen.  Best of luck.
