Hi, lve been strictly using sunscreen since I was a teen. After, 30 brown spots increased on my face even tough l still use sunscreen and reapply throughout the day. 4 days ago I didnt have the spot on the left side of the photo. I didnt go out that much and I used sunscreen when I was outside. My doctor said these spots are genetic and she cant do anything about them, she is a dermatology professor. Im really bored of getting sudden brown spots on my face despite the fact that I use sunscreen strictly. Do you have any recommendations?
I have always had very clear skin on my arms - I mean flawless - and I am not susceptible to freckles. Im not a sunlover and I wear spf50 daily all year around . Just in the past year, my arms have slowly become covered in freckles, red marks and hyperpigmentation. This seems to be due to very rare accidental exposure - which I cannot understand as it seems to be very excessive. On rare occasions over the years, Ive got on holidays to hot countries for a week or two and never experienced anything similar. Why would this happen so suddenly when I have barely even had a freckle in the past? I live in a cold country with very mild Summers. For example, the following pictures contain new marks that have appeared literally overnight. This seems to be only happening on my arms. I wear sleeves most of the year and work in doors. I am in my 30s but feel my arms look older suddenly. What would be the best treatment to address this and how can I prevent this from happening in the future? Thank you in advance
I have genetic lower eyelid fat herniation. I understand that a lower blephoplasty may be the most effective treatment. Tixel also came recommend as a treatment that may provide some improvement. Is tixel safe for the under eye and can in provide an improvement with the apperence of small undereye puffiness?
I'm trying to improve my skin at 22, and my biggest concerns are redness and large pores (or whatever they actually are). Ive got slightly oily skin, and Ive been dealing with this for about 3 or 4 years. I feel like Ive tried just about everything, but I see no long-term improvement. Heres my routine: AM: 1. Rinsing with lukewarm water. 2. (I used to use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, but I paused it for now to keep things simple.) 3. CeraVe moisturizer for oily skin (it has hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and niacinamide). 4. SPF 50+ sunscreen on my face and neck. PM: 1. Wash with CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser. 2. Apply Azelaic Acid 15% (prescribed by my dermatologist for redness and occasional pimples). 3. Use the same CeraVe moisturizer as in the morning. I also tried Paulas Choice SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant with salicylic acid for a few weeks at night, but it kind of made my redness worse again and doesn't really improve the pores at all. I actually tried pore strips on the nose the other day, and when I took them off after about 15 minutes, there was literally nothing on them (no whiteheads, blackheads, or anything else). Now Im kinda confused about whats actually going on with my face. So Im not sure what else I can do to get clear skin. Any ideas would be great.
I am looking for ways to minimise the appearance of my nasolabial folds. The pigmentation in them is my biggest concern. I am considering laser/rf microneedling/topical treatments, but i am unsure what is best. I am not too keen on dermal filler - I tried this and it made the folds heavier, so i had it dissolved
After having a 2 year old, my skin & hair has seen drastic changes. I no longer feel like myself & self confidence has plummeted. I know I will never return to my pre-baby looks so I want to give myself a makeover to embrace myself once again. I am seriously considering under eye filler as my eyes are hollow and bag up when I smile. I have had my lips done and failed liquid rhino. Im asking for flat out honesty - what can I do to improve myself? Hair, skin, looks, etc?
Hi, despite looking after my skin and using, cleansers, moisturising toners, tretinoin and moisturiser. Aswell as microneedling and red light therapy, my skin still looks terrible. What am i doing wrong? What would help? I hardly ever wear make up. Thanks
