I've had this red skin on bridge pf my nose for a while now.
Answer: Recommend doing Vbeam to reduce appearance of red pigmentation Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Radiofrequency Current Can Work Well For Treating "Broken Blood Vessels" Redness On The Face & Nose Although a close up view would have been more helpful, it appears that the persistent redness is due in fact to the presence of a closely packed network of dilated capillaries (telangiectasias) or perhaps to a spider nevus. While some might recommend the use of relatively expensive light-based or laser treatments to improve this, I have personally been addressing this relatively easily and relatively inexpensively treatable problem for over three decades with the application of a gentle radiofrequency current that penetrates the skin and simply closes off the unwanted, aesthetically displeasing little blood vessels below. Ocassionaly, one or more treatment sessions, spaced at a monthly interval, may be needed to achieve optimal results. Make sure to see a board certified aesthetic physician and ask to see his/her before and after photos. Best of luck to you.

Answer: IPL for Red Nose Thinking this appears like Rosacea which will respond well with IPL. First, go in for an evaluation and then see what the options are for you...thinking IPL would be a great easy non-invasive way to begin...and hopefully this will do it! But if it doesn't do it then there are Plans B and C ... but you should not have to live with a Red-Nose...this can be helped. Best of luck, Dr. Amy

Answer: Facial Skin Resurfacing Based on this photo alone, it is difficult to say what is the cause of the redness on your nose. Did you have acne there recently? If the problem is due to rosacea or facial veins, either Intense pulsed light, ND:YAG Laser or vein wave (radio-frequency treatment) may be effective. You need to be seen by an experienced provider to determine what is going on.
